This study addresses the need to model bubble flow in a fluidized bed using probabilistic approach, which includes intrinsic randomness. It is shown that proposed predictive (PPM) overcomes limitations of deterministic correlations, commonly used describe dynamics high-density (above 2000 kg/m3) sand-beds Type B particles Geldart classification. proven PPM can relationship between axial chord and rise velocity minimum maximum behavioral bands. model, applies wide range operating conditions, as present study, be considered applicable single bubbles injected at incipient fluidization, well bubbly beds with without loaded biomass pellets.
